Everyone deserves to feel confident and cared for, especially during challenging times. Kindly Curated recognizes the need for dressing with dignity and is providing unworn and lightly used, quality, seasonally appropriate items for individuals affected by the LA fires.

Many people are spending the limited resources they may have in in unsustainable ways, so they can quickly replenish items they may have lost. The donation banks are already full of second-hand clothing, and it’s confusing for people to know where to get the basic items they need to rebuild their lives while they are overwhelmed.

This project challenges the traditional assumption that people who are in need will take whatever is available. We want to give people support and options that make them feel comfortable, seen and understood.

Kindly Curated is partnering with brands such as Citizens of Humanity and Agolde so we can pick through unworn factory samples and dead stock to create a more sustainable clothing package donation, tailored to the individual’s needs with items that fit them and match their personal style. We also pick through smaller donations of quality items.

We send a link to a simple form so clothing can be distributed according to one’s sizes and preferences. We then deliver a package of clothing, hand picked and personally curated directly to the recipient’s location.
